JOHN M. PRICE, SR.

         Founder and Funeral Director

  1923 – 1997

    John Price, Sr. was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1923. He attended Norristown Senior High School and went on to study at Temple University where he received a certificate in Physical Therapy. Mr. Price continued his education at the Dolan College of Mortuary Science where he received his degree in Funeral Directing and Embalming. 

   Mr. Price was a member of the Quaker State Funeral Directors Association and a former Ward Leader for the 24th Ward. One of his in focuses was to improve his community. He would give his talents freely to anyone he could in order to provide a kind deed. 

    Through God’s infinite wisdom and grace, the triumph was won for John on October 20,1997, but his legacy lives on through his son, John M. Price, Jr  ,daughter Barbara Price Brown, son William Brown  and grandsons Charles Brown, Christopher Brown  John M. Price III, grand daughters Yolanda Price, Pamela Price, Adrienne Price, Charmaine Brown
