Olalekan Adeoye

January 19 1975 - August 22 2020

Olalekan Adeoye Olalekan Adeoye, the son of Sunday and Funke Adeoye was born January 19, 1975 in Ilorin, Nigeria. Olalekan (Lekan) departed this earthly life on August 22, 2020 to enter into his earthly home to (of) his heavenly father. A tragic drowning perished the lives of Olalekan who selflessly drowned in Mt. Island Lake to save his beloved nephew Seth Kango. (Olalekan, typical of his selfless character, tragically drowned in Mt. Island Lake, in an attempt to save his beloved nephew Seth Kango.) Lekan, was a strong man of God, he was a pillar in his family and he had a deep love for his internal and external family. Lekan, was a man of integrity and of compassion who displayed agape love for those he encountered. He has left an indelible stamp on so many lives touched with his witty one liners, constant words of encouragement and his ability to love unconditionally. As an avid world class traveler, the life of any party and a prolific and passionate artist; Lekan’s presence and servitude for mankind will certainly be missed by all that he encountered. He leaves to cherish his memories to his children: Nathaniel, Noah, Nason (New Jersey), Benetta, Benaiah (Delaware). His parents Sunday (Nigeria) and Funke Adeoye (Delaware) and sibilings: Titilayo (George) Kango (Philadelphia), Seun (Adeniyi) Adesida (Delaware), Wuraola Adeoye (Philadelphia), Opeyemi Adeoye (Nigeria), Tokunbo Adeoye and Adebola Adeoye (Philadelphia). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and co-workers who will miss him deeply. Seth Kango Seth Kango was born June 3 2010 to George and Titi Kango. He was a loved and cheerful boy full of spirit like boys his age. His tragic death alongside his uncle leaves a big void in our hearts. We lay him to rest knowing that God knows best. He his survived by hi GrandParents, Parents and Sister Erika. Price Funeral Home, Inc 613-615 North 43rd Street
